Description Kamil Kolakowski 2018-11-21 13:08:27 UTC
Description of problem:
Problem to run /usr/bin/gnome-shell-perf-tool on rhel-7.6 and on rhel8

I get this message:

Failed to start org.gnome.Shell.PerfHelper: timed out

The same problem I got on rhel8.

Reproduce:

install gnome-shell
run /usr/bin/gnome-shell-perf-tool --replace

So finally we released that gnome-shell-perf-tool is not running with Wayland. With xorg is working properly.
