Fresh install of Pinstripe.  In GNome Control Center in the "Theme 
Selector" choosing an available theme and pressing "Try" gives:  "Error 
reading /home/username/.gtkrc: no such file or directory".  After 
executing 'touch /home/username/.gtkrc' everything goes fine.
