Description Jens Petersen 2018-12-06 06:36:46 UTC
Description of problem:
This is a long-standing error when doing network installs with Anaconda.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-29.19.0.26-1.el8
(actually I think almost any anaconda build in the last X years)

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do an network install
2. paste url for an additional New_Repository repo source

Actual results:
"Repository New_Repository does not match selected protocol"

Expected results:
No error

Additional info:
Selecting https or editing the url fixes the warning.

Pretty sure this also affects RHEL7 (and Fedora).
It would be good to fix this for RHEL 8.0
