* Description of problem:

Is there a way to get  performance statistics for rbd images?
It will be useful to monitor and find the rbd images from within Ceph itself.

We have a customer who is looking for this feature.

I would expect "rbd top" to make it into the forthcoming Nautilus release. There is also a Prometheus exporter for RBD image stats under review right now.

Verified the bug on latest ceph version and the feature is working as expected.
