Description Laszlo Ersek 2018-12-10 14:06:08 UTC
The previous (v4-based) Bugzilla instance sorted the Status column logically. That is,

  NEW -> ASSIGNED -> POST -> MODIFIED -> ON_QA -> VERIFIED -> CLOSED

The current (v5-based) Bugzilla instance sorts the Status column alphabetically:

  ASSIGNED -> CLOSED -> MODIFIED -> NEW -> ON_QA -> POST -> VERIFIED

Unfortunately, this sorting order doesn't make any sense.

Can you please restore the original (logical) sorting? Thanks!

Now, it can sort the status column logically in QA server

Hi All,

any ETA on deploying the fix to production? It's been almost a month, and sorting remains broken. Thank you.

This change has been deployed to partner Bugzilla [1] for pre-release testing, if your testing reveals any issues please update this bug.

The logical sorting of the Status field seems to work fine for me. Thanks!
