The problem is the nfslock init script should no longer try to kill the lockd kernel process since the 2.6 kernel now does that. Devel ACK - is this something we missed in the GA release? Should be fixed in nfs-utils-1.0.6-65.EL4.src.rpm An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report.
