Description Christian Schaller 2005-08-22 12:02:01 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050719 Epiphany/1.6.3

Description of problem:
I have put together a page comparing the free software svg renderers out there. One thing I learned through feedback is that the KSVG version shipping with Fedora seems to produce more faulty output than the same version of KSVG in other distros. Also embeding SVG images in Konqueror doesn't seem to work.

Attaching a screenshot of how konqueror looks for me and how it looks on another persons system who is not using Fedora. Maybe there are some configure options etc., which needs enabling?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kdegraphics-3.4.2-0.fc4.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. goto http://www.linuxrising.org/svg_test/test_firefox.html with Konqueror

Actual Results: See attached fedora.png

Expected Results: See attached screenshot svgs.png

Closing again, turned out there is nothing wrong with your packages. Its just
that there is a separate ksvg2 package available which produce better results
than the ksvg1 version shipping with kde3.4.2
