Just tried the following: 1. Login in as `admin` that has administrative privileges 2. Also login in as `anton` to have some user with active session 3. As `admin` got to `anton`s user overview. The `Terminate session` button is active. 4. Enforce change 5. The `Terminate session` button is still active. I can click it and kill anton's session. When this user logs again it prompted to change the password. Also tried it on the current logged in user. Also works. You haven't provided cockpit version, but from screenshot it is something very old. So I think it is safe to assume it got fixed in the meantime. If you can still reproduce and provide us with cockpit-system version, that would be great. Other possibility is that upon enforcing the password change the user session was terminated. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. Created attachment 1520019 [details] Reminate_session_Key_disabled Description of problem: While making some change in password using cockpit interface by going into 'Accounts' and performing a 'Force Change', disables the 'Terminate Session' key. This can be verified once you come back after changing the password to the 'Accounts', and it remains disabled throughout the session. I have attached a screenshot for reference. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-4.18.0-32.el8.x86_64 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: 'Terminate Session' key should be available for the user. Expected results: 'Terminate Session' key gets disabled when you ply with the password change.
