Description Pavel Moravec 2019-01-14 14:31:18 UTC
Description of problem:
Current rhui plugin wont work well on RHEL8 due to

python /usr/share/rh-rhua/rhui-debug.py ..

command failing. Thus nothing from the plugin would be collected.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sos-3.6

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have RHUI on RHEL8 (if/once it will be)
2. sosreport -o rhui --batch --build
3. check if rhui-debug will be collected

Actual results:
3. nothing collected

Expected results:
3. rhui-debug collected

Additional info:
ideally, we shall implement rhui-debug script nativelly in sosreport. Like we did / are doing for rhsm or foreman-debug or so.

Comment 5 Pavel Moravec 2020-05-11 12:34:12 UTC
Pending on decision about RHUI on RHEL8, purging from scope of 8.3.

Comment 7 Pavel Moravec 2020-11-01 11:02:30 UTC
I am in favour of dropping the plugin, as there is no activity from RHUI in past 1.5years.

Comment 9 RHEL Program Management 2021-02-01 07:31:58 UTC
