Description Ilanit Stein 2019-01-30 08:25:26 UTC
Description of problem:
For each Migration test plan, there is an Infrastructure Mapping plan link
(See Migration_test_plan.png)

Clicking this link, opens a list of all Mapping plans, while it is expected that the named Mapping plan would open.

Here's a suggestion, how to resolve this confusion:
Instead of putting a link with the name of the mapping plan,
have a single link/button/tab, that will be named "Infrastructure Mapping plans". This should be visible in Migration plans window.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
CFME-5.10.0.32

@Ilanit Obviously, users can get to the Infrastructure Mappings page through the left navigation. So is the ask here really to get to Mappings without having to use the nav? UI team discussed putting a link/button on the Plans page in the past, like you're suggesting, but didn't do it because there's not really a good place for it that's not intrusive. We will re-visit the idea.

Created this issue to track: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-v2v/issues/865

Comment 5 Fabien Dupont 2019-03-07 07:33:24 UTC
Not enough time/people to do it in 5.10.3. Moving to CFME 5.11.

Comment 6 Mike Turley 2019-05-29 16:21:14 UTC
Fixed in https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-v2v/pull/963.
Fabien, we could move this back to 5.10.6 if you want. The fix was simpler than expected.

Comment 7 Mike Turley 2019-05-30 14:09:10 UTC
Fabien or Brett, do you mind moving this to POST? The PR is merged.
