Description Philip Prindeville 2005-08-30 04:33:27 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050720 Fedora/1.0.6-1.1.fc3 Firefox/1.0.6

Description of problem:
I'm booting an AMD NX1750S mini-ITX mainboard, with the 962/963 Northbridge/southbridge chipset.

The boot images apparently don't contain a needed driver, but Anaconda doesn't tell us which PCI id's it's already found, what drivers it's matched to those devices, or what devices are left unmatched at this point.

This message screen could be a lot more informative than it currently is.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot an FC3-i386 install CD or DVD on an AMD NX1750S mini-ITX mainboard
2.
3.

No driver found is pretty localized to the option you just chose and if you get
it, then there aren't any devices of the appropriate type. tty4 will give you
kernel messages which can provide more useful information as well as tty3.
