Description Alfredo Moralejo 2019-01-31 10:13:25 UTC
Description of problem:

Package python-networking-bigswitch is an old package not updated since 2016. It's a openstack neutron plugin. As neutron or openstack packages are not longer shipped in OpenStack, it doesn't makes sense to keep it in Fedora.

Currently it's only providing python2 subpackage and it's blocking removal of python2 in some of its requirements.

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1263874#c80 and further.

Comment 2 Alan Pevec (Fedora) 2019-01-31 22:56:36 UTC
Miro, based on bug 1263874 comment 84 can a provenpackager retire this package or we need to start unresponsive maintainer procedure?

Last recorded activity by xinwu was Fedora 25 build in Apr 2016 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=753592

I've sent the message to the email listed in FAS and it did not bounce, so maybe bigswitch folks can regain the access.

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2019-01-31 23:32:12 UTC
Retired.
