No... I think it is too late in the cycle....

But I am going to clone this into a rhel7 bz

Moving to VERIFIED now:

$ grep manage /etc/nfs.conf
# manage-gids=n
       ^^^
$ rpm -q nfs-utils
nfs-utils-2.3.3-24.el8.x86_64
