No... I think it is too late in the cycle....

But I am going to clone this into a rhel7 bz

Verified in nfs-utils-1.3.0-0.63.el7

[root ~]# grep gids /etc/nfs.conf
# manage-gids=n
       ^^^
[root ~]# 
[root ~]# man mountd | grep manage-gids
       -g  or  --manage-gids
       the /etc/nfs.conf configuration file.  Values recognized in the [mountd] section include manage-gids, descriptors, port, threads, reverse-lookup, and state-
[root ~]# 
[root ~]# rpm -q nfs-utils
nfs-utils-1.3.0-0.63.el7.x86_64
[root ~]#
