What does live restore do, that you care about?

Podman does not need to be running for the container to keep running. You can run containers in back ground.

Docker defines live restore as the ability to restart the daemon without the containers going away.
Since podman is a daemon less system, no live restore is required.

Are you talking about Docker restarting a container if it stops?
