Description Stephen Walton 2000-08-23 22:56:13 UTC
My system contains two IDE disks in a RAID configuration, hda and hdc, and
a single SCSI disk which is the boot and system disk. To allow LILO to
work correctly, /etc/lilo.conf contains the line

disk=/dev/hda bios=0x80 disk=/dev/hdc bios=0x81 disk=/dev/sda bios=0x82

This line was not copied from /etc/lilo.conf.rpmsave to the new
/etc/lilo.conf after a 6.1->6.2 update, causing LILO to fail. I was able
to boot in rescue mode and re-run lilo, but some other fix should probably
be made.
