you may also try k3b. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion, but this component is not scheduled to be updated in the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. If you would like this request to be reviewed for the next minor release, ask your support representative to set the next rhel-x.y flag to "?". Redhat does not deliver an "enhanced" version of cdrecord but an artificially _limited_ version of cdrecord that does not properly write DVD media. The original software of course supports to write DVDs and is recognozed by xcdroast. It is interesting to see this bug "closed cantfix" as it would be very easy to fix. Redhat would just need to come back and publish again the legal original software.... Or does Redhat still likes to continue to publish a broken fork that cannot be legally distributed? |
