Checked on this bug with SSSD team, it does not look as critical-enough for RHEL-6. There should also be a workaround with setting the ldap_deref_threshold to non zero value. I will close it. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is in the Production 3 Phase. During the Production 3 Phase, Critical impact Security Advisories (RHSAs) and selected Urgent Priority Bug Fix Advisories (RHBAs) may be released as they become available.
