Description ToddAndMargo@zoho.com 2019-03-15 23:39:50 UTC
Fedora 29, x64

$ rpm -qa mediawriter
mediawriter-4.1.2-1.fc29.x86_64

mediawriter does not create a bootable USB Flash drive from Microsoft ISO:

Win10_1809_English_x64.iso

You can download this ISO at:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO

Comment 1 ToddAndMargo@zoho.com 2019-03-16 02:09:54 UTC
If it helps to fix this utility, this command like program does works:

# dnf install WoeUSB
# woeusb --target-filesystem NTFS --device Win10_1809_English_x64.iso /dev/sd[x]

Boots both legacy and eUFI

Comment 2 Martin Bříza 2019-03-19 13:00:47 UTC
Yeah, sorry, mediawriter is not indended to support images other than Fedora.
