Description Radim Hrazdil 2019-03-18 08:03:07 UTC
Description of problem:
When a VM is being cloned using the Clone a VM, there is a configuration overview. If the original VM has a MAC address specified, it is displayed in the clone VM dialog as well.

However, MAC addresses are cleared during the clone process, so the cloned VM doesn't have the MAC address specified.

We should probably first process the original VM manifest and then use it to display what the cloned VM will look like.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a VM and specify MAC address on it's NIC
2. open Clone VM dialog
3. configuration displays the MAC address, which is removed from the cloned VM

Actual results:
Overview doesn't show config of the resulting VM

Expected results:
Overview should show config of the resulting VM
