I've filed an upstream issue to resolve various kubefed2 option issues including the one captured by this bugzilla: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/federation-v2/issues/738 Upstream PR for fix: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/federation-v2/pull/739 Fixed in version 0.0.10.
