Description Omair Majid 2019-04-04 16:16:44 UTC
RHEL 8 currently includes .NET Core 2.1.8. There are 2 known bugfix updates that have been prepared by upstream since then:

2.1.9: March 2019. This is a security update for CVE-2019-0757
2.1.10: April 2019 This is a security update for non-RHEL platfroms, but just a bugfix for RHEL.

We should update the package in RHEL 8 to make sure we pick up all the security issues and other bugs that upstream has fixed.

These updates have already been okay'ed for RHEL 7. We shipped out the 2.1.9 update for RHEL 7 in March 2019. We are ready to ship out 2.1.10 in the second week of April 2019. Unless we update the package in RHEL 8, RHEL 8 will be behind RHEL 7 in terms of fixes.
