Description Khushbu Borole 2019-04-09 13:19:25 UTC
Description of problem:
The Customer script in datastore stopped working after the update to CFME 5.10.2.2

Works at: 5.10.0.33
Does not work at: 5.10.2.2

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Red Hat CloudForms 4.7

How reproducible:
Always with CFME 5.10.2.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import the datastore
[ This has a script that copies the data from Text-Box-A to Text-Box-B ]
2. Import the dialog
[ Text-Box-A refreshes Text-Box-B
Text-Box-B has the script connected by a method which enters the same text in itself as that of Text-Box-A ]
3. Created a catalog that calls the dialog
4. Executed the dialog

Actual results:
Doesn't Work

Expected results:
Should Work
If I enter text in Text-Box-A, it should reflect in Text-Box-B automatically.

Niyaz ,
Please add test case for this and update the BZ.

So I turned off the validation on that was true on the dialog field because the validator was set to nothing which feels like it's not doing much.

Apart from that, this is a UI issue, the backend logging shows that whatever I type into field A gets set to the value of field B, the UI just isn't loading anything.
The API call looks fine, too, the values hash from the field shows the value I expect returning from automate.

I'd guess that this is similar to the issue assigned to Roman recently.
