My current workaround for this is to manually create /run/turnserver.pid and change the ownership to coturn. However this does not survive a reboot. %t in the service file seems to be intended as a shortcut for /var/tmp ? However it works if the full path is specified instead: /var/tmp/turnserver.pid As per https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.unit.html %t is a shortcut for /run FEDORA-2019-f2e090a266 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 30. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-f2e090a266 FEDORA-2019-a9a8362ef3 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 29. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-a9a8362ef3 coturn-4.5.1.1-1.fc30 has been pushed to the Fedora 30 testing repository.
