1.  View www.redhat.com with a high-resolution screen mode
2.  Rescale fonts so that it's legible

  

Actual Results:  Web site continues to use a narrow band in the middle of the screen; everything is crushed within this narrow band and is 

Expected Results:  Website should expand to use at least some more of the available screen real-estate

That's the design decision the team made, and I don't see it changing much. 
You'll have this problem anywhere with a fixed width -- see nytimes, yahoo, etc
-- it's a popular choice for static text media.
