libpq-11.3-2.fc30 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 30. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-4cdba9f0cd libpq-11.3-2.fc30 has been pushed to the Fedora 30 testing repository. Please make sure that libpq in f30 properly obsoletes postgresql-libs from f29 module. I tried today: sudo dnf --releasever=30 --setopt=module_platform_id=platform:f30 distro-sync But that failed on transaction check saying that libpq.f30 conflicts with postgresql-libs.f29. We have this already: Obsoletes: postgresql-libs < %majorversion Provides: postgresql-libs = %version-%release ... but apparently it is not enough. Work-around: $ sudo dnf --releasever=30 --setopt=module_platform_id=platform:f30 shell > distro-sync > remove postgresql-libs > run ...
