Description of problem:
In rocky release openstack-glance has added support for configuring multiple stores for glance. To make it core feature, need to make location API compatible with multiple stores.

Indeed, I don't think this is a feature that we officially support yet. It's therefore OK not to backport it. 

Should we close this bug, then?

So it looks like this patch is in our 16 branch. I'm not sure whether we officially support the feature in 16, though. Do we any docs regarding this?

this RFE is part of the glance multi stores work.
