Probably because it wasn't rebuilt, perhaps?

Comment 2 Timotheus Pokorra 2019-05-28 05:53:16 UTC
We have had some updates to Mono in F30, can you please update and test Monodevelop again?

If it still fails, can you give any description of the error? perhaps there is some output when you start monodevelop from a console window?

Comment 3 Elliott Sales de Andrade 2019-06-27 22:53:59 UTC
There have been no new builds nor updates in Fedora 30.

Comment 4 Timotheus Pokorra 2019-06-29 21:19:13 UTC
I meant that there have been updates to the mono packages itself, fixing various things. MonoDevelop depends on Mono, so that might make a difference.

I have now tested MonoDevelop on a fresh install of Fedora 30, and it starts just fine for me.

Can you please update Mono to version mono-core-5.18.1-7.fc30.x86_64, and try to start MonoDevelop again. Do you get any errors, perhaps if you start it from the console?
