Description of problem:
Fedora 29 freezes after/while installation showing console screen with message “Starting Gnome Display Manager…”.

systemd/logind service waiting for arrival of Video Device (DRM capable device) and not starting graphical session until that.

This cause of lack of DRM kernel module for Parallels VGA adapter.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try install Fedora 29 on hardware without DRM support
2. Installer hanged with console message “Starting Gnome Display Manager…”


Actual results:
Installer hanged


Expected results:
Normal installer GUI

We are already fix this problem in systemd (v242) with commit

We need you to merge it in Fedora 29 source tree.

Thanks. I pushed to commit to the v239-stable branch upstream. It should land
in Fedora on the next rebuild.
