.`omamqp1` module is now supported
With this update, the `AMQP 1.0` protocol supports sending messages to a destination on the bus. Previously, Openstack used the `AMQP1` protocol as a communication standard, and this protocol can now log messages in AMQP messages. This update introduces the `rsyslog-omamqp1` sub-package to deliver the `omamqp1` output mode, which logs messages and sends them to the destination on the bus.

This PR https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/3697 brings the code up-to-date and adds an integration test for the module. will also need linux system role for rsyslog - https://github.com/linux-system-roles/logging/issues/73 There is a qpid-proton brew build for RHEL 8, if you are asking to include it in RHEL 8 distribution, it is a question for RHEL 8 PM. Currently qpid-proton is distributed by AMQ subscription. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (rsyslog bug fix and enhancement update), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2020:4775 |
