Verified on Satellite 6.6 snap 18. Searching hosts by parameter works normally without error. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3172 @Anand, Here, in this BZ mainly targeted for searching on the all hosts page. And the solution of this BZ is available in some version. I can see that search by param value is present on other place including hostgroup page but different than host page. And which needs to be fixed. So, I would suggest you to create new BZ and attach this case there for tracking purpose. any thoughts on this? |
Description of problem: It is now not possible to search host by value of certain parameter Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): satellite-6.6.0-5.beta.el7sat.noarch (snap 4) How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a host with parameter: Name: wrhSWlGmTG Type: string Value: yNQdKtCqYD 2. Attempt to search for that host on Hosts -> All Hosts with query "params.wrhSWlGmTG = yNQdKtCqYD" Actual results: Error shown: Field 'params.wrhSWlGmTG' not recognized for searching!
