(This is _not_ the same failure mode (-EINVAL) as bug #171679 on RHEL4)

On ppc64, with 32-bit iproute package installed.

ioctl(3, 0x89f1, 0xffffd808)            = -1 EFAULT (Bad address)

Works with 64-bit userspace. Probably a kernel problem.

This bug is filed against RHEL 3, which is in maintenance phase.
During the maintenance phase, only security errata and select mission
critical bug fixes will be released for enterprise products. Since
this bug does not meet that criteria, it is now being closed.
