Description Rudi Chiarito 2005-10-27 18:44:15 UTC
Description of problem:
Authconfig has no means at the moment to enable mappings of LDAP attributes from
the MSSFU (Microsoft Services for Unix) schema to the RFC2037 schema. The
appropriate statements for NSS and PAM are already in /etc/ldap.conf, but they
are commented out. A CLI/GUI switch, along with a kickstart option, would allow
easier integration into a Active Directory network.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
authconfig-4.6.12-1

Additional info:
The Services for Unix schema (as well as the rest of SFU) is going to be
integrated in Windows Server 2003 R2. Chances are that the number of possible
users for this is only going to go up.

This package has changed maintainer in the Fedora.
Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

Comment 3 Pavel Březina 2021-05-20 13:19:42 UTC
Authconfig has been replaced by authselect and it is no longer present in Fedora since Fedora 28.
