User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7

Description of problem:
Attempting to modify a domain machine account for Samba results in erratic behavior and gives the error about having an illegal character ($) in the username. The accounts can only be modified using vipw or text editing. Not a very usefull tool if Samba is the primary server running on the machine.
