Description of problem:can't login on console,tty1,tty2 etc after kernel 
upgrade 2.4.21-20 > 2.4.21-27.0.2  message found in /var/log/messages: > 
login : module unknown

but i can login with ssh

Hello, Normand.  Which module is unknown?  (It seems like part of
the error message was not included.)

Please also include the output of "lsmod" and indicate whether you
were previously relying on any modules from the kernel-unsupported RPM.

This bug is filed against RHEL 3, which is in maintenance phase.
During the maintenance phase, only security errata and select mission
critical bug fixes will be released for enterprise products. Since
this bug does not meet that criteria, it is now being closed.
