rpm -ql gtkhtml3 | grep "\.a"
/usr/lib/gtkhtml/libgnome-gtkhtml-editor-3.8.a

We shouldn't be shipping static libraries, see e.g.:

Should be fixed in gtkhtml3-3.8.1-2
