Description Gaoyun Pei 2019-07-12 10:53:19 UTC
Description of problem:
When installing cri-o-1.14.6-1.rhaos4.2.el7.x86_64 on RHEL-7.6 worker, it's requiring containernetworking-plugins >= 0.8.1-1, the containernetworking-plugins package in ocp-4.2 repo is still containernetworking-plugins-0.7.4-1.el7.x86_64.rpm, and 0.8.1-1 also not available in shipped rhel-7/rhel-7-extra repos.

We should get containernetworking-plugins package updated, or else it will be a blocker for QE's RHEL scale-up testing.

Please feel free to change this bug to correct Component, it looks like a puddle building work.

Version-Release number of the following components:
rpm -q openshift-ansible
rpm -q ansible
ansible --version

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:

With rhel-7, rhel-7-extra and ocp-4.2 repos enabled,
[root@rhel-worker-0 yum.repos.d]# yum install cri-o
Loaded plugins: product-id, search-disabled-repos, subscription-manager

Moving to the node team.

Comment 2 Lokesh Mandvekar 2019-08-12 19:26:57 UTC
so containernetworking-plugins 0.8.1-1 got shipped in 7.6.6 Extras 2 weekes ago at https://errata.devel.redhat.com/advisory/42945 . Is that package not fetchable?

Comment 3 Gaoyun Pei 2019-08-13 03:05:00 UTC
Thanks, just had a try on this. Package cri-o.x86_64 0:1.14.6-1.rhaos4.2.el7 could be installed successfully, containernetworking-plugins-0.8.1-2.el7.x86_64 is available from rhel-server-7-extras now.
