Description Chris Roberts 2019-07-17 14:21:46 UTC
Description of problem:
Some customers do not need a tar option and just want to have their internal Red Hat Satellite 6 sync from the connected Red Hat Satellite. Add an option for this please.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Red Hat Satellite 6.5

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sync a repo and create a content view
2. export that
3.

Actual results:
Get a tar file

Expected results:
I want just the directory tree instead of a tar file

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite 6 since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/27374 has been resolved.

Verified in Satellite 6.7 Snap 10

Add repositories
Switch all download policies to immediate
Run the export command

[root ~]# hammer content-view version export-default --export-dir /tmp
