Comment 6 Adrian Reber 2019-07-30 12:03:57 UTC
There are certain things which cannot be accessed from a container, but this seems to be there. On my local system I get:

[mpi@rhel08 ~]$ podman run registry.access.redhat.com/ubi8/ubi ls -la /sys/kernel/mm/hugepages/
total 0
drwxr-xr-x. 4 nobody nobody 0 Jul 30 11:52 .
drwxr-xr-x. 7 nobody nobody 0 Jul 30 11:52 ..
drwxr-xr-x. 2 nobody nobody 0 Jul 30 11:52 hugepages-1048576kB
drwxr-xr-x. 2 nobody nobody 0 Jul 30 11:52 hugepages-2048kB

Same results on the outside and the inside of the container, just different owner. So the path does exist on my system.
