Description of problem:
mc segfaults when LANG evnvironment variable not set. This is usual situation 
for chroot setup (buildroots, chrooted servers, etc.)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Last FC3/4 updates.

How reproducible:
Just unset LANG and try to run.

Actual results:
Segfault.

Expected results:
No segfault.


Additional info:
See attached simple patch which fixes incorrect handle with getenv() return 
value.

This is now fixed since mc-4.6.1a-3.FC4.
