Description Frantisek Hanzlik 2019-08-27 19:29:45 UTC
Description of problem:
Package ams depends on ladspa-swh-plugin, which isn't in Fedora 30 (but was in previous F29- releases).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ams-2.1.2-2.fc30.i686.rpm

Additional info:
This ams package is default pkg in audio group, thus trying to install this group (via kickstart file in my case) result in installation crash.

IMO this is a reason for not so strict solution of similar mistakes.

I'm big fan in using kickstart, as it produces fine and reproducible installation, but I see clearly that installing Fedora using the kickstart method has been an increasing problem over the several last Fedora releases.
Some as dnf "strict=0" would help.

ladspa-swh-plugin was orphaned, unfortunately it was not noticed in time.

Comment 2 Guido Aulisi 2019-10-30 23:21:03 UTC
ladspa-swh-plugin is in f30 stable now
