Description Breno 2019-09-05 19:36:26 UTC
Hi,

I would like to ask a build of erlang-sd_notify for EPEL 8.

Would you mind requesting the branches and build them?
In order to build it, it's necessary erlang-rebar, which is filed here #1749520.

Thank you very much.

- Breno

I unfortunately don't have the bandwidth to maintain erlang-sd_notify in EPEL 8. However, I can grant access to an EPEL maintainer who's willing to step in. If you're interested, please let me know and I'll add you in Pagure.

Closing this request. erlang-sd_notify cannot be built for EPEL 8 because there is no Erlang/OTP distribution available there. Additionally, the primary consumer of this library — RabbitMQ — ships its own sd_notify implementation and does not depend on this package.

For EL9 and EL10, RabbitMQ with the full Erlang/OTP stack is available via the CentOS Messaging SIG:

dnf install centos-release-messaging
dnf install rabbitmq-server
