Description of problem:
Everytime I change CPU type to 
virt-xml fedora30-wor --edit --cpu host-passthrough,clearxml=yes

and I start the box it's automatically switched back.

This blocks nested KVM usage inside of the VM.

gnome-boxes-3.28.5-7.el8.x86_64

It should be already implemented in 3.30 so we would love to have it backported into 3.28.5 which will stay with us for some time in RHEL8.X
