Description Vladislav Kazakov 2019-09-08 15:06:35 UTC
Description of problem:
Giflib moved quantize.c out of SOURCES therefor not available in OBJECTS for creation of giflib.so
giflib 5.1.9-2 resolves the issue

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
giflib-5.1.9-1.fc30.x86_64
libgdiplus-devel-5.6.1-0.xamarin.3.epel8.x86_64

How reproducible:
mono application.exe

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install mono repo: https://download.mono-project.com/repo/centos8-stable.repo (because fedora has outdated version)
2. Use GUI in your application
3. Build and launch application

Actual results:
Mono: DllImport unable to load library '/lib64/libgdiplus.so.0: undefined symbol: GifQuantizeBuffer'.

Expected results:
Application starup

Apologies for the slow reply, missed the ticket. I've moved quantize.c back into giflib.so, updated packages are building.
