Are you *sure* you want netcdf-cxx and not netcdf-cxx4? netcdf-cxx is deprecated at this point and users are encouraged to migrate to netcdf-cxx4. I was trying to build another software (cdo, https://code.mpimet.mpg.de/projects/cdo/). There is a .spec file for that project here: https://github.com/ARPA-SIMC/cdo-rpm, which requires netcdf-cxx-devel. Not sure if netcdf-cxx4 would work, this is unfortunately not really my area of expertise, I'm just trying to meet my users requirements of packages when migrating from RHEL7 -> RHEL8 FEDORA-EPEL-2019-c5a95527d0 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 8. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2019-c5a95527d0 Yeah, I guess it's too much to ask scientific software to update libraries. *sigh* netcdf-cxx-4.2-23.el8, netcdf-cxx4-4.3.0-11.el8 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 8 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2019-c5a95527d0 netcdf-cxx-4.2-23.el8, netcdf-cxx4-4.3.0-11.el8 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 8 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
