Screenshot of unresponsive loading page
I encountered a similar issue when dsconf was expecting more parameters, than cockpit-389-ds provided, failed with an error, but cockpit-389-ds was still waiting for the output and was frozen. Steps to reproduce: 1. Load the Cockpit UI. Server Settings tab is selected by default; 2. Go to Database tab; 3. Restart the instance; 4. Try to switch to Server Settings tab. Expected results: The tab is loaded. Actual results: 'Loading server configuration...' hangs forever Upstream ticket: https://pagure.io/389-ds-base/issue/51229 Build tested: 389-ds-base-1.4.3.21-2.module+el8dsrv+10309+dd9f990e.x86_64 cockpit-389-ds-1.4.3.21-2.module+el8dsrv+10309+dd9f990e.noarch Steps: 1. Load the Cockpit UI. The Server Settings tab is selected by default. 2. Go to the Database tab. 3. Restart the instance. 4. Try to switch to the Server Settings tab. The tab is loaded, Marking as VERIFIED. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
