Description Stephen Gallagher 2019-09-16 13:50:10 UTC
Description of problem:
In order to support running the module build service on RHEL 8, we will need to upgrade to libmodulemd 2.8.0 or later. Numerous enhancements since 2.5.0 will also benefit the porting of libdnf to the 2.x API.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libmodulemd-2.5.0-2.el8

Additional info:

https://github.com/fedora-modularity/libmodulemd/releases

libmodulemd strictly follows semver versioning and has a robust regression test suite upstream. There will be no API/ABI compatibility issues resulting from this upgrade.
