This package has changed maintainer in the Fedora.
Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

Comment 6 Parag Nemade 2020-04-09 06:19:08 UTC
Thanks Dominik for taking over this package.

Comment 7 Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2020-05-03 22:49:16 UTC
Actually I'm not interested in it anymore and I orphaned it again. Sorry. I guess it's still going to work in EPEL7 and EPEL8 as pango there is 1.42. It won't build with pango-1.44 and fixing that requires significant effort, if at all possible.

Comment 9 Jens 2020-08-09 13:53:32 UTC
I needed the package for a (proprietary) Canon scanner application/driver. As I stumbled across another dependency issue that I could not solve, I will use a virtual machine with Windows to operate the scanner. Therefore, I don't need the package any longer.

Hello everyone!

Well, I need this package because, I guess, it has the libpangox-1.0.so.0() needed by anydesk-6.0.1-1

Thanks!

Comment 11 Tiago d'Almeida 2021-01-17 21:24:14 UTC
The only "solution" that I founf is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnyDesk/comments/jojdq1/fedora_33_install_anydesk_through_dnf/

But using a older package is not all correct ...

Comment 12 Tiago d'Almeida 2022-06-25 16:21:15 UTC
Well everyone ...

We are in the Fedora 36 and this issue is not resolved.
The pangox-compat is needed for anydesk to work.

If anybody can get this package maintainance, I'm willing to do so, but I need some help and direction/instructions on what to do.

Thanks!
