Hi Christian, I'd suggest first trying the kernels on my people page: http://people.redhat.com/jlayton ...they have some smbfs patches that might be helpful here. If that doesn't help then it's going to be hard to proceed without a reproducer. Is there anything in the ring buffer (dmesg) when this occurs? If we have something to go on here, I'll take a closer look, but the best option going forward is to move to CIFS. smbfs has a lot of unresolved upstream bugs and design issues. Let me know what the results are... No response in several months. Closing bug with resolution of INSUFFICIENT_DATA, please reopen if you're still having this problem. |
