Checking the source of wpa_supplicant-2.9-2 from RHEL-8.2.0-20200211.n.0 I can confirm that CONFIG_WIFI_DISPLAY=y is set in build-config. Given the fact that none of the other pieces for wifi displays to work is in place (gnome-network-displays, or even the ability to configure p2p connections from within Gnome settings) I can only confirm that this change has been made to wpa_supplicant, and not actually configure a connection to a miracast capable device. Marking this as verified for the change is there, but again noting that this is untestable at the moment. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
