Description Vladimir Benes 2019-09-26 13:27:25 UTC
Description of problem:
we would love to see CONFIG_WIFI_DISPLAY to be enabled so we can build some more apps on top of that (like gnome-network-displays)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
wpa_supplicant-2.7

Comment 2 Ken Benoit 2020-02-19 15:34:36 UTC
Checking the source of wpa_supplicant-2.9-2 from RHEL-8.2.0-20200211.n.0 I can confirm that CONFIG_WIFI_DISPLAY=y is set in build-config. Given the fact that none of the other pieces for wifi displays to work is in place (gnome-network-displays, or even the ability to configure p2p connections from within Gnome settings) I can only confirm that this change has been made to wpa_supplicant, and not actually configure a connection to a miracast capable device. Marking this as verified for the change is there, but again noting that this is untestable at the moment.
